The rules, kept simple.

By downloading, installing, or using Tankly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

These terms apply to all users of Tankly, whether you're on the free plan or a Pro subscriber.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tankly. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.

If you're signing in with a Google account, you're also bound by Google's Terms of Service. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors who use the app.

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account used with Tankly. We're not liable for any loss caused by unauthorised access due to your failure to keep your credentials secure.

You agree not to create accounts using automated methods, impersonate others, or provide false information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Tankly for your own aquarium management purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its code.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app.
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the app's backend services.

Tankly Pro is a subscription available through Google Play Billing. By subscribing, you agree to Google Play's billing terms in addition to ours.

• Billing — You'll be charged through your Google Play account at the price shown at the time of purchase.
• Renewal — Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation — Cancel anytime through your Google Play subscriptions. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
• Refunds — Refund requests are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. We don't control this process.
• Price changes — We'll notify you of price changes with reasonable advance notice.

If you cancel Pro, your data stays on your device. You'll lose cloud sync and multi-tank management, but no data is deleted.

Tankly's community feature lets you share your tanks, photos, and comments with other aquarium hobbyists. By posting content, you agree to:

• Not post content that is hateful, harassing, or abusive.
• Not share content that violates anyone's privacy or intellectual property.
• Not use the community for spam, advertising, or self-promotion unrelated to fishkeeping.
• Take responsibility for everything you post.

We reserve the right to remove content or ban users who violate these guidelines. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your community posts within the app.

Tankly Pro includes AI-powered water quality insights generated from your tank's parameter history. These are meant to be informational and helpful — not a substitute for expert advice.

AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. For serious fish health concerns, consult a qualified aquatic veterinarian or specialist. We're not liable for outcomes based on AI recommendations.

Tankly, its design, code, and features are the intellectual property of Piyush Golan. All rights reserved.

Your aquarium data — the parameters, livestock lists, photos, and logs you enter — belongs to you. We don't claim ownership over your data.

Community posts you make are licensed to us for display within the app, but ownership remains with you.

Tankly is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet every use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for:

• Any loss of data from app errors or service interruptions.
• Fish health outcomes or livestock losses based on app readings or AI suggestions.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

We're a small indie project, and we've built this with care — but please keep backups of anything critical.

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, community posts, photos, and auth record from our servers.

We may terminate or suspend access to Tankly immediately, without notice, if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases, but your local device data remains intact.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Chhattisgarh, India, unless local law requires otherwise.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
